The Palo Alto Cyber Security Gateway course will provide you with a full understanding of the fundamental principles of networking and cover the general concepts involved in maintaining a secure network computing environment.
Assessment
You will be assessed by in-class chapter tests, final theory and practical exams.
Professional accreditation
This course leads to the PaloAlto PCGA certification.

You'll be required to have:
- a reading-age level (RAL) of 13
- basic computer literacy and awareness of the internet
- prior experience with computer hardware, cabling, binary maths and basic electronics (this is desired, but not required)
You're also required to have a Windows-based PC or laptop with internet connection if you want to study the material outside of the University premises.

This is an entry level course in Cyber Security with interactive online learning material with various theory and practical exams.

Where this course can take you
Upon successful completion of this course and the Cyber Security Essentials you can work as a Cybersecurity Junior Administrator.
