Explore our campus

London Metropolitan University has three campuses based in one of the world's most exciting capital cities, London. Each campus specialises in different subjects areas and all have great transport links via bus and train.

Aldgate campus

Situated in the bustling East End, our Aldgate campus is located in one of the most exciting parts of the city, students can enjoy the benefit from neighbours such as the Whitechapel Gallery, and Petticoat Lane, Spitalfields and Columbia Road markets. Located minutes away from two tube stations, Aldgate (Circle, Metropolitan lines) and Aldgate East (District, and Hammersmith & City). Mainline railway stations Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street are a short walk away.

Our Architecture, Interiors, Furniture & Product Design courses and our Foundation programmes are based here, with workshops and studios being refreshed and repurposed to improve your teaching spaces while keeping the equipment and setup you're familiar with.

Holloway campus

Situated in Holloway Road in Islington, north London with Upper Street and Highbury Fields a stone's throw away, our students can soak up the lively and creative atmosphere Islington has to offer. Located directly by Holloway Road tube station, only two stops from King's Cross St Pancras on the Piccadilly line. Highbury & Islington station is also nearby, connecting to the Victoria, Overground and National Rail lines. A number of bus routes also serve the area.

This academic year Photography and Visual Communication will join Our Schools of Art, Architecture and Design courses already running at Holloway, and the School of Computing and Digital Media, creating opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and share specialist facilities. This means access to an expanded range of technical resources and expertise.

Shoreditch campus (coming soon)

Opening in Autumn 2025, the new Shoreditch campus is designed with your creativity in mind. We're updating existing spaces and adding new ones to give you the tools, tech, and environment you need to thrive. The equipment you know and trust will move with you, alongside new kit to support your work and learning.
