MET-CEP is a strand of the Course Enhancement Programme (CEP) which identifies courses where improvement can be made. The metrics by which the courses are identified are found using the MET-CEP dashboard which reviews course in four key areas
- NSS
- Non-continuation
- Completion
- Graduate outcomes
MET-CEP's aim is to meet condition B3. Condition B3, took effect on 3 October 2022 which requires providers of HE courses to deliver positive outcomes for students, which are recognised and valued by employers and/or enable further study and introduces a quantitative threshold based on student performance indicators.
Courses are identified for MET-CEP where they fall significantly below the OfS national average benchmarks. This information is pulled from the MET-CEP dashboard on PowerBI.
Additionally, courses who have the potential to meet TEF Gold will also be invited to take part in MET-CEP.
