This workshop focused on the creation of documents and materials that are accessible to the widest possible audience.
At London Metropolitan University, there is a shared responsibility to remove barriers to learning that can prevent disabled students from fulfilling their academic potential. Adopting inclusive practice supports the University’s compliance with the Equality Act (2010), and it will undoubtedly benefit disabled students.
Notwithstanding, many of the approaches covered in this workshop were good practices that may be helpful for all students – inclusive design is good design!
