Baron Anyangwe commenced a position as member of the Board of Governors in March 2020 and became a member of the Audit and Risk Committee in August 2020. Baron was previously a member of the Finance and Resources Committee which he joined as a previously co-opted member in October 2016.
Baron is a chartered accountant and business adviser with a passion for purpose-driven strategy. He has worked across the public and private sector, from large corporates to start-ups and charities, supporting senior executives define and implement initiatives that align with their long-term goals.
Baron has quite a diverse range of interests that include exploring new technologies, promoting social enterprises and researching developments in successful management practices. When he's not trying to learn a new skill or undertaking adventure pursuits, he is on the lookout for innovative ideas or organisations to invest in.
