Munesh Mahtani joined London Metropolitan University’s Board of Governors in August 2023. Munesh is Chair of the Governance Committee.
Munesh is a senior lawyer, with a focus on technology and regulatory affairs. Having started his career at a large city law firm, he has spent over fifteen years in-house, in the media and technology sector, across large and small companies. He is an active member, at committee level, of professional organisations such as the International Bar Association and Business at OECD, and has received professional recognition, including recently in the GC Powerlist, UK.
Munesh has a keen personal interest in technology and its transformational potential, and in diversity and inclusion, especially in the workplace and in education.
Munesh has an LLB and MA from King’s College, London.
