Good morning,
Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to ask for the following documentation.
1. A copy of your university records retention schedule
2. Confirmation of for how many years you retain data contained within a transcript
3. What is the oldest year you are you able to produce a copy of a student transcript? For example if a student graduated from your institution in 1994. Would you be able to produce a transcript of their results today?

I write further to your request for information dated 1 April 2019. This request has been handled by the University in accordance with its duties and obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ("FOIA").
You requested details of:
1. A copy of your university records retention schedule
2. Confirmation of for how many years you retain data contained within a transcript
3. What is the oldest year you are you able to produce a copy of a student transcript? For example if a student graduated from your institution in 1994. Would you be able to produce a transcript of their results today?
Your request is refused in accordance with s.21 FOIA, as the information is reasonably accessible by other means. The information is available on the university website here & here.
If you are not satisfied with the handling of your request, you may request an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your original letter by writing to:
