Request
Hello,
I am sending this FOI request to ask about the accommodation services offered by your institution.
I would like to find out answers to the following questions:
1) In what proportion of your university owned accommodations/properties that you let out to students do the tenants pay the energy bill direct to their supplier, and which proportion pay the bill direct to the university or university accommodation services.
2) Do you allow tenants who pay the energy bill direct to their supplier to switch their supplier/tariff, and do you allow tenants who pay the bill to the university or the university accommodation services to switch their tariff/supplier?
3) For tenants who pay the university/university accommodation services directly for energy, which energy tariff are they on and how much is the cost of this tariff? (if the answer is that the tariffs/suppliers vary, could you let us know a list of suppliers and tariffs and how many properties are on each of these, or if this isn't possible, can you let us know the most common tariff).
4) How often does the university routinely switch energy suppliers/tariff on the properties where students pay direct to the university/accommodation services?
5) How much do students pay for gas and electricity? If this varies, can you tell us how much students pay for this on average in each of the following: 4 bedroom property, a 5 bedroom property and a 6 bed property?
