The Student Ambassador Programme offers you a number of benefits and possibilities. It allows you to give something back to your University by representing London Met to the public and potential students. You will also have the chance to provide valuable support and inspiration to young students from local schools and colleges.
Being a student ambassador gives you the opportunity to improve your CV by gaining valuable work experience, while at the same time offering you various free training sessions and the chance to make some extra money. We find that the type of work offered improves our ambassadors’ communication and presentation skills and builds their confidence.
The work is very flexible as you obviously have other responsibilities and commitments as a student. This work has no pre-determined hours and you can work around your studies, when it suits you.
Please note: You must be a current student of London Metropolitan University to apply. We cannot employ those who have already graduated. We also particularly welcome applications from care-experienced students, carers and students with disabilities, and we also run a number of outreach projects working with students from these backgrounds.
If you have any questions or require the application in a different format, please contact us at studentambassadors@londonmet.ac.uk
