London Met has signed up to become a food waste warrior and doing your bit couldn't be simpler (and cheaper). Find out how to join.
Date: 4 October 2018
Everyone wants to save a penny or two and now that London Met has signed up to Too Good To Go, there really is no excuse not to join in the movement.
What’s better, you’ll not only be saving your money, you’ll also help to fight food waste.
In case you missed it, Too Good To Go is a growing app which helps you save food from going to waste. All you have to do is buy a discounted ‘mystery box,’ turn up at the venue at the time stated on the app, collect your box, grab a fork and enjoy.
As indicated by the ‘mystery box’ element, you’ll never know what’s inside the box.
London Met is one of many who have signed up to the app. At Holloway, you can buy a box from The Junction, Highbury Canteen and Costa in the Blue Met lounge. The Atrium Cafe at our Aldgate campus has also signed up.
To get started, simply download the app from the app store, enter your card details and away you go.
