What's on today at our Aldgate campus?

Welcome to your Open Day! We're so glad you could make it and we can't wait to welcome you.

Throughout the day there will be information fairs, support sessions and other activities available – check out the schedule below to find out more about the sessions and timings. Don't worry if you don't know where to go – our helpful staff and student ambassadors will be on hand to help guide you around the University!

Welcome talk and refreshments

Start the day with a warm welcome from the Head of Art, Architecture and Design and discover more about life at London Met!

Student Life Panel - A day in the life

Hear from some of our current students and graduates as they discuss  student life, provide advice  and top tips regarding being a student.

Don't miss the oppotunity to have your questions answered by our current students, send any questions in advance to study@londonmet.ac.uk and have your questions answered live!

Interactive Subject Sessions

Subject leaders will conduct an interactive subject taster session to  help give you an idea of not only what the course involves but also what it is like study on the course of your choice.

12.25pm - 12.40pm

Subject-specific campus tours led by tutors (where appropriate)

Subject leaders will take you on a guided tour of the facilities that you would be using whilst on your course.

Drop in sessions

12.15pm – 2pm

Services Information Fair

Drop in throughout the day to find out all you need to know about accommodation, careers and more.

Student Union

Speak to member of our student union to find out what it is like to be part of the SU at London met and what clubs and societies we have to offer.

Take a student led tour of the campus facilities.

Lunch and chat with academics and students

Chat to academics and students whilst enjoying a light lunch with your school

Exhibition and networking with academics

Please feel free to visit the exhibition spaces around the University, where there is a variety of student and work on display.

1pm – 1.20pm

Support talk: Preparing for University

This session is designed to help you understand the UCAS application process, funding your studies, the local area and making the most of your university experience.

Location: GSB-01

1.30pm – 1.50pm

Support talk: Life after London Met

This session will be delivered by a London Met graduate, they will talk about life after London Met and the opportunities that have come their way.  The winner of the quiz will be announced here!
