Guildhall School of Business and Law has hosted a seminar for staff and postgraduate students examining research carried out in Cyprus on corporate social responsibility and the use of social media in charities.
Ria Morphitou presented a paper entitled: Promotion of Non Profit Organizations through Social Media and Marlen Demetriou presented a paper entitled: Corporate Social Responsibility in Periods of Economic Crisis: The Case of Cyprus. The seminar was well-attended by academics from marketing, human resources management and accounting and finance, and the presentations generated much lively discussion of these topics.
