Date: 6 December 2017

Twas' the night before Christmas and all through the Bauhaus...The Cass Christmas Cracker will be pulled on Thursday 14 December 2017!

The 12th annual Cass Christmas Cracker Open Studios at Calcutta House features an exhibition by Fine Art BA and Photography BA students and a pop up exhibition by first year architects. This exciting event will take place between 3pm and 8pm on 14 December 2017, with the School opening its doors to the public for a festive feast of creativity and fun.

Everyone is welcome to the event in the Annex building on Old Castle Street. It promises to feature exhibitions of work in progress by students, stalls selling work for charity and to help fundraise for the 2018 Cass Summer Show, refreshments, performances and screenings. It's an ideal opportunity not only to see work in progress by talented students, but also to see the teaching spaces and meet students and staff over a mince pie or two.

In the Atrium in Goulston Street there will also be a pop-up exhibition of work from the 'making' project by first year Architecture students. This annual project sees the group work on an intensive brief to produce full-size 3D or furniture products, working in collaboration with expert technicians from across the School. The 'making' show will be open from 6pm on 14 December.
