Designs by Cass Alumni Casswell Banks and Yinka Ilori make final of Dulwich Pavilion competition organized by the London Festival of Architecture.
Date: 19 June 2018
Designs by Cass Architecture alumnus-led practice Casswell Banks and Furniture alumnus Yinka Ilori (collaborating with Pricegore) have been shortlisted for the Dulwich Pavilion 2019 competition organized by the London Festival of Architecture
Six designs have been shortlisted for the second Dulwich Pavilion, a temporary outdoor structure which will be open to the public throughout summer 2019 and the result of a design competition organised by the London Festival of Architecture in partnership with Dulwich Picture Gallery.
Models and visualisations by the six emerging architecture practices – who have been shortlisted by a judging panel of industry experts – are now on display at the Gallery until 22 July 2018, in full view of Sir John Soane’s architectural masterpiece. Visitors to the free exhibition are invited to explore the concepts and vote for their favourite design throughout June. The public vote will then be combined with the panel’s votes to select the winning design.
On 22 June the Gallery is hosting a Late Event where visitors can enjoy tours, talks and workshops and meet the shortlisted architects. Entry is only £5 for students.
