The annual Computing and Digital Media Show will be held on Thursday 14 – Saturday 16 June at different locations across London.
The Computing and Digital Media Show is made up of a range of events to celebrate students from the School of Computing and Digital Media’s success and work during 2017/18 academic year. SEND, a day of networking and building relationships with industry experts, will launch the Show on Thursday 14 June.
The event, which will be held at the University’s Holloway campus, invites in a range of professionals to offer an insight into employment in computing and digital media, diversity in the digital age, artificial intelligence and cyber security. Students will have the chance to network and learn more about their future careers.
The annual event will demonstrate exciting work from our students from gaming and animation, communications technology and cyber security as well as showcasing professionally crafted musical instruments and exploring London Met’s journalism course.
Visitors will be able to play video games and interact with some novel high-tech toys, explore interactive worlds, experience acoustic soundscapes and see films and animations, as well as participate in project discussions with students and academics.
The event will be attended by industry experts and has a strong emphasis on games, media, animation, engineering projects, mobile forensics and electronic toys.
Dr Stan Zakrzewski, Head of the School of Computing and Digital Media said: “This is always a highlight of our academic year.
“The Summer Shows offers a wonderful opportunity for employers and the wider community to join us and celebrate the success of our students and for those considering a degree to get a great idea where our courses could take them.”
