Tourism and Travel Management students visit London’s Imperial War Museum
Date: 20/04/2015
Final year Tourism and Travel Management students left the classroom to visit London's iconic Imperial War Museum. The group took time to explore tourist accessibility both to and within the museum.
This trip was a great opportunity for the group to take the theory they have learnt in the classroom and apply it to a real world tourist attraction.
Janet Rangeley, Module Leader for Transport Policy and Travel in Society, said: "Visiting the Museum was a great success with students having lots of enthusiasm and interest not only in the topic of the study visit, but also in the exhibitions and history of the Museum. Student feedback can be summarised as 'excellent, very relevant and a must for future final year students - a great day out!"
