Recent Furniture and Product Design graduate, Mandie Beuzeval, has had a great success at the 2017 London Design Festival with her 'Great Dryer'.
Mandie's deceptively simple idea - to supersize the traditional wooden laundry dryer - attracted lots of attention and orders from individuals and especially shops selling textiles, for whom the facility of a very large display unit that could be rapidly erected and dismounted safely and without tools turned out to be a winner.
Since graduating Mandie has continued to develop and sell a range of furniture designed with her personal simple, elegant and understated, yet functional style.
Mandie is one of a growing community of Cass Furniture and Product Design graduates making an impression on the design world, and the annual 'Making Matters' exhibition and CassStarters at SCP were also highly visible this year at LDF.
