IDM Competition offers marketing students great opportunities

Guidlhall marketing students were given the opportunity to win an award for themselves and the University by entering the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) Student Marketing Competition which takes place in the summer of 2015. They have been asked to create and submit, in teams of three to six, a detailed marketing plan in response to a real client brief under lecture supervision.
The competition is designed and delivered for marketers by marketers and has been made to give students a real life, up-to-the minute knowledge of the ever changing needs of their role. The work is challenging, but gives students priceless experience of what it's really like to work in marketing. As well as hands-on experience they'll also get the opportunity to win prizes and to meet and mingle with useful contacts in the industry who could possibly offer internships and marketing jobs.
