A series of seminars from London Met's Child and Woman Abuse Studies Unit will bring together international activists, survivors and practitioners working to end violence against women.
Date: 4 October 2022
London Met’s Child and Woman Abuse Studies Unit (CWASU) is set to host Joining the Dots, a programme of events addressing common themes in the area of violence against women and girls - including efforts to silence survivors and mechanisms, or behaviours that protect perpetrators.
The series will centre the experiences of activists, survivors and practitioners working across the globe to end violence against women. From October to December 2022, guests will be able to hear from speakers from Malaysia, India, the Republic of Korea, Romania and Australia.
The seminar programme will be hosted and convened by London Met’s Professor Purna Sen, and follows on from last year’s series.
The webinars include diverse topics, including human rights and violence against women, organising against sexual violence in education, and sexual aggression in the United Nations.
