Exhibition of work by the late David Skingle, artist and former Head of Printmaking at The Cass, opens in Gloucestershire

More than Matter, a retrospective exhibition of a life's work by David Skingle, the former Head of Printmaking The Cass will open at Lansdown Hall and Gallery in Stroud, Gloucestershire from 16 July. The exhibition, which has been curated posthumously by the artist's daughter, explores the intersection between physical and spiritual worlds.
David Skingle (1955-2012) taught printmaking at The Cass for many years, leading the Fine Art Print Room in collaboration with Nigel Oxley and cementing an international reputation for the area. He is remembered at the School through the annual David Skingle Award for Studio Practice in Fine Art Printmaking, which was shared in 2019 between students Hellwa Kader and Reece Recardo of BA (Hons) Fine Art.
