Oscar and Bafta-nominated director Orlando von Einsiedel visited London Met in April to talk about his film Virunga, a powerful combination of investigative journalism and nature documentary telling the incredible true story of a group of courageous people risking their lives to build a better future in the Congo. The film had the entire room moved to tears and an engaged question-and-answer session followed.
It was a full house at the event with nearly 200 people in attendance. Students from a range of courses were part of the lively audience, including those from Film and Television Studies, Theatre and Performance Practice and Journalism.
