Date: 21/07/2015

PIR associate professors Andrew Moran and Steven Curtis gave papers on their pedagogical research at the BISA annual conference, 17-19 June, in London.

Andrew's paper, Data drenching and the thirst for knowledge: How BA International Relations students use the internet, explored the findings of his research into how undergraduates learn online.

Steven gave two papers: Teaching BA Diplomacy with Twitter: Extending communities of learning and training twiplomats and (with John Craig, Higher Education Academy) Impact and the Teaching of IR: the Missing Dimensions Explored. The latter paper was part of a panel on alternative approaches to identifying and measuring impact in the social sciences.

Andrew and Steven will be giving papers on these themes at the London Met Annual Learning and Teaching conference on Tuesday, 7 July 2015.
