Tandem is the first collaboration and live project sponsored by the British Council Cairo in which the Jewellery and Silversmithing department at The Cass partners with the Design Studio Azza Fahmy; Egypt's first specialized jewellery institute in association with Alchimia School of Contemporary Design in Florence.
Tandem is a workshop and exhibition program spaced over six months running November 2014 – to April 2015, initiated and led by Cass senior lecturer Mah Rana and DSAF’s director Estela Saez.
Tandem:London is located in the BA (Hons) 3D studio Alchemy led by Heidi Yeo with participating CASS students: Roxanne Reynolds, Julia Trandafir and Saskia Van Der Knoll.
