Hazel Messenger and Paul Bullock visited NEXT in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to discuss how the thriving partnership will develop.

Dr Hazel Messenger and Mr Paul Bullock, Academic Liaison Tutors from London Met’s Guildhall School of Business and Law, recently paid a visit to one of the University’s partner institutions NEXT, in Sri Lanka’s capital city of Colombo.
Courses set to be delivered by NEXT underwent the validation process in January 2020, just before the international restrictions imposed because of the pandemic. Since then, developments in the partnership have been supported by frequent digital meetings.
The opportunity for extended face-to-face meetings as a result of the end of pandemic restrictions meant that in-depth discussions around provision in Colombo and Dubai could further progress.
NEXT is now offering postgraduate courses aimed at the executive market in Colombo, and will begin offering courses in Dubai in February 2023.
Hazel and Paul are looking forward to continue to support NEXT in the expansion of their course offers, and in doing so meeting the educational needs of Sri Lankans at home and overseas.
