Big Idea Challenge, London Met’s annual pitching competition, led by our Enterprise team enters the final stage, with 9 ideas making it through to this year’s Finals.
Our London Met Big Idea Challenge finalists’ ideas include an ecclectic range of exciting businesses across the Commercial, Community and Environment, and Creative categories.
From revolutionary gut-healing super drinks to tactile engagement friendly museums, this year presents another strong cohort of enterprising students and graduate behind a diverse range of ideas.
This years Big Idea Challenge Awards will be taking place on Wednesday 7 May, where the winning ideas from each category, the People’s Choice winner, and an overall Grand Champion will be annouced. Book a ticket to attend the Big Idea Awards 2025.

Commercial

The Seed Shop – an online store for plant and herb seeds for sustainability concious city dwellers looking to experience growing and maintaining their own indoor houseplants.
Creative
Noise Magazine – an online and print magazine featuring unique and emerging London artists and designers, plus culture and design focused news and interviews.
Unvisible Collection – a museum with tactile engagement friendly exhibits to give visually impared and neurodiverse people a richer, more accessible experience.
Sensorial Love – a board game for bored couples looking to induce laughter, awaken their senses, and ignite new sparks in their relationship through sensual challenges.
Community and Environment
GEMSNODE – an online mentoring platform for African and Asian graduates in the UK seeking employment support and guidance from successful immigrant professionals.
Neuro-Banking – a banking app/service that supports neurodiverse children and adults to manage and gain independence around online banking and their money.
AI-Integrated Robotic Pollinator – an efficient and scalable robotic pollination system that uses AI to detect and pollinate strawberry flowers more reliability.
