Giovanni L Bordone

Giovanni is an accomplished academic with over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, specialising in product personalisation, particularly in luxury tailoring, and corporate training. With nearly ten years of university teaching experience, he has also delivered corporate training programs for leading fashion companies across 20 countries, spanning Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. Giovanni was awarded Senior Fellowship (SFHEA) in Higher Education in February 2024.

Giovanni specialises in fashion marketing and business, luxury management, and innovation within the fashion industry. He has also led modules on corporate strategy, buying, merchandising, micro and macroeconomics, product personalisation, and various courses within MBA programmes, equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the dynamic and fast-evolving fashion business landscape.

Giovanni's research primarily focuses on fashion personalisation and production on demand, exploring innovative approaches to tailoring, consumer behaviour, and the integration of digitalisation within the fashion supply chain. His work aims to contribute to advancing knowledge in sustainable and customisable fashion production.
