Nathan Evans

Nathan is a writer, director and performer. His poetry has been published by Muswell Press, Royal Society of Literature, Manchester Metropolitan University, Fourteen Poems, Broken Sleep. His first collection, Threads, was long-listed for the Polari First Book Prize 2017; his second collection CNUT is published by Inkandescent; he hosts BOLD Queer Poetry Soirée. His debut novella, One Last Song, was chosen by i newspaper as one of its ‘best books’ for Pride month 2024 and long-listed for the Polari Book Prize. His work has been funded by Arts Council England, toured with the British Council, archived in the British Film Institute, broadcast on Channel 4 and presented at venues including Royal Festival Hall and Royal Vauxhall Tavern.

I bring my experience (and contacts) as editor at Inkandescent (finalist: Small Publisher of the Year, The British Book Awards 2022) to the editing and publishing modules I lead.
