Stella Kikoyo
Stella is a lecturer in the Business School teaching on both marketing professional programmes and undergraduate programmes. Stella is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) with over 10 years experience as lecturer in Marketing and Business Management. Stella previously worked as a lecturer, trainer and researcher at Makerere University Business School (Uganda), one of Africa’s leading business schools. She continues to do ad hoc consultancy work for Makerere University Business School.
In addition, Stella has significant corporate experience having previously worked in administrative, community liaison and public relations roles for a project company of the AES Corporation USA in relation to a large hydropower project on the River Nile. Stella played an influential role in setting up systems to facilitate an orderly resettlement of over 10,000 people in accordance with World Bank guidelines. She has also worked as a Manager and Club Secretary of a Social Club in London. This experience provides her with invaluable insights, which are useful for her role as lecturer especially on the professional courses.
