Recent graduate Desislava Pavlova studied Business Management BA (Hons) at the University's business school. Here she talks about her experiences of life at London Met.
What attracted you to the Business Management course?
My interest in the world of business and leadership really attracted me to the course.
Can you tell us a bit about your background?
I am an EU student with work experience in media marketing and events management. I believe the knowledge I've gained from the Business Management course will definitely support my future professional development in that field.
How have you found the course at London Met?
The course was well organised and lectures were accurate. All tutors and university staff were helpful, friendly and had a positive attitude. The environment of the academic atmosphere inspired me to become highly motivated to achieve my desired success.
What was your highlight at London Met?
I'm pleased to have been honoured a First Class degree in Business Management BA (Hons). Looking back now at all the time and effort spent in the last three years, this award makes me feel proud of myself and thankful to all the academic support I received.
Describe your experience in one word?
Inspirational.
How has the course prepared you for the world of work and what are your plans now?
My work experience and self-motivation combined with the knowledge I gained at London Met will definitely give me a better chance for getting my desired job. My short term plan is to start working in a multinational organisation and focus on my professional development. I also plan to gain a master's degree in the near future.
