Omar Sadeque graduated with an MSc in Network Management and Security in 2014 and after working for industry leaders Cisco, he now works as a network implementation engineer.
What were the highlights of your postgraduate course?
This year has been absolutely life-changing. I received an education from inspired, challenging and caring teachers in a variety of fields, the kind of professional education that would be hard to surpass anywhere.
How did your course help with your career prospects?
My course at London Met opened the door for my career – especially when I was hired by the Cisco (Advanced Service) team at Green Park as a Lab admin. I then moved to HM Treasury and am now working for Fujitsu Services as a network implementation engineer.
Are you currently doing any further training?
London Met has motivated me to keep working towards certification and keeping them up to date. I am currently holding Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching (R&S) and CCNP Security – and I'm working towards Wireless Certification.
