Architecture Studio 4 ran a workshop with the Art Club from Sir John Cass Foundation Primary School. Cass students worked with the children to help them build large scale lanterns for the annual Aldgate Lantern Parade.
The December 2018 parade included school children, families, residents, community groups, businesses, artists and community groups from Aldgate. Children from the the school held aloft the lanterns they had made, accompanied by the Barbican’s Drum Works. The event launched from Sir John Cass's Primary school playground, wove through the streets of Aldgate along the High Street and culminated in Aldgate Square for the Winter Fete.
