Cass Projects designed seating and planters
Cass Projects’ Jen Ng designed seating for London Met’s Estates department to enable the use of the Calcutta third floor rooftop as a communal space. The layout refers to the previous roof service structures, and are intentionally ‘infrastructural’ in anticipation of future projects: student installations and events.
The first installation was designed and built by our Architecture and Interior Design Extended Degree, who took part in a design competition, then worked in groups to develop and build five versions of the winning entry. The installation was showcased at the Cass 2018 Summer Show.
