Mobile Arboretum installation in Aldgate.

AAD Projects worked with Aldgate Connect Business Improvement District and Wayward architects to site their installation for the London Festival of Architecture in June 2022. The barrow planters are located on Aldgate High Street for the festival, and will remain over the Summer.

The project, Mobile Arboretum, responds to the LFA’s theme ‘Act’ and to the barrows of Petticoat Lane. It hosted a drawing and writing workshop ‘Tall Tree Tales’ during the festival, and moved to local school and community garden sites for re-use after the summer.
