Garments and photos from the Petticoat Tales project were displayed at a ‘fashion salon’ event, with the announcement of the eight prize winners. Shopkeepers, community members, clients, curators, friends and family invited along to hear about the process and to view the garments.
The event was sponsored by LB Tower Hamlets High Streets team and the Petticoat Lane Heritage Action Zone, to display how our student skills showcase current interpretations of the traditional fabrics.
