Sevil Peach

Biography

Sevil Peach FSCD, born in Turkey, studied Interior Architecture at Brighton University, England. She formed her London-based studio SevilPeach Architecture + Design with Gary Turnbull RIBA in 1994, having previously worked for several leading architectural practices.

As a team they have a wide range of experience including retail, healthcare, exhibitions, residential and commercial projects. Over the past 24 years she has developed an in-depth interest and expertise in workplace design. Her groundbreaking workplace solutions for the interiors of Vitra’s offices at their Weil am Rhein Campus in Germany has led to a longstanding and on-going consultancy to Vitra, as well as with clients such as Sony, Mexx HQ, Deloitte, Novartis, Eczacibasi Holdings, Spaces BV, Swiss Re HQ, Kvadrat HQ and Microsoft.

An extensive list of collaborations with distinguished architects accompanies her personal portfolio. She has recently worked with Diener + Diener Architekten in Shanghai, China and in Zurich and this list extends to include Herzog & de Meuron for Tate Modern, London, as well with Kengo Kuma, Alejandro Aravena, Sergison Bates, FCJZ, Chang Ke, Maya Lin, David Chipperfield and Toshiko Mori.

Sevil was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 by Frame Magazine at their annual awards, recognising leading talent in the world of interiors.
