Thursday 9 May 2019, 6-9pm
You are invited to attend our book launch, What are Exhibitions For? – an Anthropological Approach, in the Atrium Space at The Cass on Thursday 9 May, 6-9pm.
There will be a slide show and a short talk by Dr Inge Daniels about the book at 7.15pm. We are also hoping for a virtual reality experience of the original exhibition (co-curated by us) which was held at The Geffreye Museum in 2011, which is where the book came from.
This event is purely a celebration! Unfortunately, the books that will be available on the night are hardbacked reference only. We will not receive the cheaper, amended paperbacks until later, however you can pre-order one of these at the launch if you wish.
All are welcome!
