Theresa Adebiyi is the creative Director at Partisan Records. In this role she works closely with artists on the label’s roster to develop a visual “world” to accompany their music in the mediums of cover art, photographs, music videos, short form content and all creative aspects outside of the music. In her previous role at Ninja Tune Records she was creative director on high priority campaigns on the label and oversaw Ninja Tune’s label branding.
Artists she project managed or commissioned for included Young Fathers, Little Dragon, Maribou State, Cinematic Orchestra, Actress, Jordan Rakei, Jayda G, Roots Manuva, Big Wild, Machinedrum, The Bug, Visionist, Romare, Congo Natty, Darq E Freaker, EERA. In this talk she will explore how visual worlds are developed for music projects.
