Rita Parniczky

A lecture by Rita Parniczky.

Rita Parniczky is a London-based artist. She investigates the woven structure through the making and the installation of her translucent material she has developed. Parniczky's material visually transforms as light passes through it; she explores this with natural and artificial light at different locations and from varied view points. 

Parniczky recently won the Peter Collingwood Trust Award for innovation in weave and was awarded Arts Council England funding to develop a new body of work for an exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery.
