Assistive Technology Research Group works with a wide range of stakeholders with the purpose of promoting independence by enabling people to perform their tasks without the help of a support worker, or that were difficult to achieve on their own.
Firmly embedded in the principles of co-production with users, the group works in partnership with organisations such as Baluji Music Foundation, VisionBridge, Royal Institute of Blind People (RNIB), Microphthalmia, Anopthalmia and Coloboma Support (MACS), Beyond Sight Loss and Thomas Pocklington Trust to build and test technologies with target users, make the research group more inclusive and flexible.
